We build up tiny dots of pigment in several layers to create a hyper-realistic 3D effect.

We do this according to how much work is needed. More pigment is needed for those with no natural colour, and less for those with existing colour.

Artistic skill is key in this type of work. Advanced implantation techniques are used to ensure the best results.

Karen, Geraldine and Vikki are all trained to this advanced level.

The first thing we do is sit down with you and have a really in-depth chat about what you wish to achieve through the process of medical tattooing. Quite often this is the final part of what has been a very intense journey, and we understand how important this final stage can be.

Next we will discuss the appearance you wish to create in terms of colour. If we are working on one breast we can simply match with the other side. If we are working on both then we will mix a custom blend of pigments bespoke to you.

Position and design is the next stage. We will draw the design with pencils and pigments to ensure the best placement for your natural shape.

Only when you are completely happy with all these things will we proceed with the treatment.

Healing is like any other wound care. We will give you some dressings to apply to the area to keep it clean and sterile and it’s important to keep the area dry for the first few days.

However, there should be little to no discomfort and the area will not scab over in an unsightly way.

The area will look a little darker at first, and then after a few days it will start to get a little dry and flaky before fading off a little bit. The colour will then push its way back through over the course of about 6 weeks.

Full aftercare will be given on the day of your appointment and we will check in with you throughout the healing process for help and advice.

Yes we can match the colour as accurately as possible but there is almost always a slight visible difference when you are looking very closely at the area. Although we cannot match 100% exact, it will certainly look 100% better than before!
