Jaimie-Lee Hallett, one of Karen’s Elite Trainers at the Nouveau Contour Permanent Cosmetics Training Academies, represented Karen Betts Professional on the Radio Show. Performing an eyebrow treatment on her client, whilst being interviewed, Jaimie shed light on the procedure and what’s actually involved.
When asked if her permanent makeup treatment hurt, or caused any pain or discomfort Jaimie’s client, Rachel said: ‘No just a little scratch, nothing major.’ Jamie outlined how the procedure revolves around looking at the way in which a client’s hair grows naturally and filling in the eyebrow with single strokes to replicate the look of single strokes in a natural brow. This allows for a nice textured and more natural effect.
Kathy Phillips, International Beauty editor of Vogue was also interviewed about her thoughts on eyebrow tattooing, and confirmed how much of a fan she was. Kathy also highlighted how much safer she now deemed the treatment to be as opposed to permanent makeup treatments many years ago, attributing this to better pigments and also noting the advanced techniques and equipment now used by technicians which help to deliver better results.
