In 2013, we had the pleasure of welcoming blogger Laura Zito, of ‘Six out of Ten’ blog through our clinic doors at No.1 Harley Street. Laura previously had a brow blush with Elite Artist Geraldine, and was absolutely thrilled with the results. Fast forward 3 years and Laura is back in clinic to have an eyebrow treatment with Elite Artist Jordana, and test out the new K.B Pro microblading procedure which has been developed by our very own Karen Betts.

Having been overwhelmed by just how long the results lasted from her previous treatment, Laura decided it was once again time to get a permanent eyebrow treatment and add more shape and definition to her brows. Laura confesses that pencilling in her eyebrows every day was adding so much time to her morning routine – a confession we’re sure a lot of you can sympathise with. As one of her brows was scarred following a bike accident a couple of years ago, it could take Laura 2-3 applications to get them just the way she wanted. Laura said; ‘I would get so frustrated that it was taking 15 minutes more than it should to get ready each morning.” Hard to believe that equates to over an hour each week. Surely we all have better things to be spending our time on?

Knowing more or less what to expect from a permanent eyebrow treatment, Lauren once again ventured to our No.1 Harley street clinic seeking out the perfect set of eyebrows, and we’re thrilled to say that’s exactly what she felt she got. Created by Elite Aritst Jordana Stringer using a new K.B Pro microblading technique developed by Karen Betts, Laura’s eyebrows were created with specialists techniques performed with an expertly designed hand tool. The hand tool in question (also designed and developed by Karen Betts) gives experienced permanent makeup artists like Jordana more flexibility and freedom to replicate ultra-fine and realistic hair strokes, which result in highly defined natural looking brows.

Laura said: “I was intrigued about the new K.B Pro microblading technique, and the results which could be achieved. I expected to look more red and feel sore after the treatment, however, there was only a touch of redness and not too much discomfort due to the anaesthetic cream.”

When asked how she felt about her new eyebrows Laura said: ‘Absolutely confident and 100% happier. It’s nice to wake up in the morning and not have to worry about them, especially in the summer storms we’ve had. I even think my face is framed better to wear my hair up in a ponytail, something I’d never usually do.”
