We couldn’t believe our eyes when Sugerbabes’ Jade Ewan visited us recently to have her eyebrows permanently tattooed. But it turned out that as far as she was concerned, Karen was the famous one.

As Jade said “I’d heard so much about Karen Betts and her work, so when it came to doing my eyebrows, she was the first person that come to mind’. So it seems that while Jade’s famous for her No.1 hits, it’s Karen’s groundbreaking work that has everyone singing her praises as the number one in permanent cosmetics.

It was a real honour to work on one of the UK’s top singers whose image is so important. Of course, Karen is used to rubbing shoulders with top celebs, after all, she is the permanent cosmetic consultant for both the BBC and Sky TV. She’s also famously launched a successful collaboration with The Katie Piper Foundation and was chosen to mentor everyone’s favourite Essex girl, Amy Childs as she opened her first beauty salon.

What was really nice, was that after her treatment, Jade said ‘I’m thrilled with the results, they frame my face perfectly!’

And we couldn’t agree more as her treatment uses Karen’s technique of applying tiny individual hair strokes in different shades to create a stunning 3D effect for long-lasting, natural looking eyebrows that maintain a youthful appearance.
