Kate Ciampi, CPCP, Executive Director of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP) said of the 100% pass rate, “this is a testament of the dedication to the industry these professionals and Karen and her elite team of educators possess”.
With currently no UK recognised governing body the exam is highly regarded, being the credentialing product of the SPCP, which is the largest and longest standing non-profit membership organisation for the permanent cosmetics industry worldwide, having been established since 1990.
Betts states, “I am so proud of all the artists that sat the exam; not only does the pass rate reflect the high quality and depth of the education my trainers and I deliver, it reinforces my ethic that the imparting of knowledge and specific skills I acquire from my international seminars and workshops plus the consistent delivery of the basics are what turns a student in to a successful well educated permanent cosmetic artist”.
It is an impressive accomplishment to be independently tested with a standardised exam for the permanent cosmetic industry that many take on an international level to earn this highly sought after credential. Ciampi added that “Karen and Nouveau Beauty Group were the perfect candidates to host the exam in the UK as CPCP credentialed professionals must maintain a level of excellence through continuing education and Karen’s unique developmental training journey clearly evidences this excellence with the overall programme meeting all the SPCP Code of Ethics requirements”.
